What actually separates them

Both are wall-hung combination boilers with the same coil ratings (43.5 psig space heating, 150 psig DHW), the same 5–14" w.c. gas supply, the same 12,000 ft altitude approval and the same 120 ft of 3" / 35 ft of 2" venting per side.
