What actually separates them

Both boilers are wall-hung condensing combis in the same small chassis: 73.0 lb per the I&O manual, 18.5 x 11.5 in, 0.75 gal of CH water, 15,000 BTU/h minimum input and the same 3/4" NPT gas/DHW and 1" NPT heating connections. The IP060160C caps central heating at 60 MBH of input but fires its DHW side to 160 MBH with 7.9 GPM maximum flow — it is a combi whose biggest job is hot water. The IP090099C flips that: heating input rises to 90 MBH while DHW drops to 99 MBH and 5.3 GPM, which suits a home with a bigger heating load and lighter hot-water draws.
