Bradford White Brute FT BFTHW-301 in practice
The BFTHW-301 is the smaller of the two Brute FT boiler-type condensing units Bradford White lists for Canada (model number printed on the official Canada and US catalogues as BFTHW-301). It is a wall-hung unit with a floor-stand accessory option, rated for 301,000 Btu/h maximum input with a 39,900 Btu/h minimum fire — a printed 7.5:1 turndown — and it prints AHRI certified combustion and thermal efficiencies of 95.4% and 95.1%.
The official sizing data prints a gross output of 286 MBH and a Net AHRI water rating of 249 MBH, with an 80 psig MAWP (ASME "H" stamp) and a 30 psi ASME pressure relief valve.
