The Bimini (BWC Series) is Crown's legacy high-efficiency gas-fired, direct-vent condensing boiler, documented on crownboiler.com's frozen 'Residential Gas' navigation (the product page itself carries no body copy). Two generations share the BWC name and must not be mixed, per the batch8 research: the wall-hung Sola generation (BWC070, BWC090, BWC120, BWC151 — aluminum gas condensing boilers for forced hot water systems at supply temperatures of 180°F or less, with a Honeywell Sola control and optional pedestal mounting), and the later floor-model MCBA generation (BWC150, BWC225) whose manual stamps its aluminum heat exchangers to ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Case 2382-2 and prints an LP suffix convention (BWC225LP style).
The Sola-generation specification table (Table 2.2) lists maximum/minimum inputs of 70/30, 90/30, 120/40 and 150/50 MBH with DOE heating capacities of 63–135 MBH, net water ratings of 55–119 MBH (1.15 pickup allowance), water volumes of 0.41–1.13 gallons, 1" NPT supply/return and 1/2" NPT gas connections, and approximate net weights of 102–133 lb. Neither generation's sourced installation manual prints an AFUE figure, so Boilers.ca leaves efficiency unstated rather than guessing. Neither generation is a combi — Bimini Buddy was a separate add-on domestic water tank documented as an accessory. The Bimini is not in the current Velocity Boiler Works menu, so productStatus is 'discontinued'; Boilers.ca records six models at model level (four Sola-generation, two MCBA-generation) from the hosted legacy manuals.
