The Raptor is Crown's (Velocity Boiler Works) first fire-tube design: a stainless-steel, gas-fired condensing boiler for natural or LP gas that the product page rates at 'up to 96% AFUE', offered in five heat-only sizes — 85, 110, 155, 205 and 270 MBH — plus a 155 MBH combi model featuring a thermostatic mixing valve and brazed plate heat exchanger. All Raptors include a touchscreen interface, a 10:1 turndown ratio and an outdoor reset function per the product page, and the literature describes the Honeywell Sola control system with LCD touch screen display, built-in self diagnostics, three circulator outputs and a built-in sequencer for up to 8 boilers.

The boilers are designed for installation on a wall (pre-installed hanging bracket and wall-mount kit per the literature; floor stand kit optional) and vent directly in 2" or 3" pipe to a 135 ft maximum equivalent length (60 ft in 2"), with a minimum vent length of 30 ft.
