IBC VX “No Boilernet communication” alert
Error – No Boilernet Comm
The manual lists this alert when a boiler configured as the Master in a network (cascade) cannot detect at least one other boiler board on the Boilernet. The master expects to communicate with its subordinate boilers to coordinate firing.

Why a code is not a diagnosis
A communication alert can be a wiring or network problem, a subordinate boiler that is powered off, an addressing mismatch, or a faulty board. The alert does not say which boiler dropped off or why.

- Note which boiler shows the alert and check that every boiler in a cascade plant has power.
- If the building has a boiler network, note any recent changes to the equipment or controls.
Do not
- Do not re-address or rewire a boiler network yourself.
- Do not reset the master repeatedly while a subordinate is offline.
