IBC VX “Remote offline” display message

Remote offline

InformationalIBC VX Series boilers with the V-10 touchscreen controller

The manual lists this warning when a boiler configured as the Master in a network cannot detect any subordinate boilers. It appears on networked (cascade) installations rather than single-boiler homes.

Applies to

This warning message is shown by the V-10 touchscreen controller on VX Series residential boilers (VX 110, VX 150 and VX 199), as documented in IBC Installation & Operating Manual — VX 110 / VX 150 / VX 199, doc 120-347E6, sections 9.2–9.4.

Controller: V-10 touchscreen controller. Source manual: 120-347E6 (2026-08-07).

Why a code is not a diagnosis

The warning does not say whether a subordinate boiler is powered down, the network wiring is broken, or the network settings changed. The manual's checks cover wiring, power state and IP/network settings on each unit.

Safe things to observe

  • Check that every boiler in the plant has power and shows a normal display.
  • If you are not responsible for the boiler plant, note the warning and report it to the building manager or your service provider.

Do not

  • Do not re-configure boiler network settings yourself.

How professional service helps

  1. A technician verifies network wiring, subordinate power state, IP settings and Network IDs across the cascade.
  2. Faulty connections or settings are corrected so the master can see its subordinates again.
