Series facts
The FT Series Floor brings the FT condensing platform to a floor-standing format for homes where a wall-hung boiler is not the right choice. The heating-only FTHF199N and the combination FTCF199N are both printed on their manual covers at 199,000 BTU/h, with natural gas as the factory configuration and propane field-convertible; the heat-only installation manual is Document 1510B and the combi installation manual is Document 1505C.
The floor units display the same style of two-digit numeric codes as the FT wall series — repeated flame-extinguishment and ignition-failure codes (10 and 11), over-temperature at 203°F (code 16), condensate switch, sensor, fan, gas-leakage, low-water cut-off and anti-freeze codes through code 94 for exhaust-gas temperature — each with Soft Lock or Hard Lock recovery per Section 6.1 of the manual.
The error tables captured for research do not reprint the FT floor rating tables, so Boilers.ca does not quote input ranges, vent lengths or efficiency figures for the floor series beyond the nameplate values printed on the manual covers. Installers still size the floor units from a heat-loss calculation and Laars' own ratings literature.
