Lochinvar FTXL FTX1000 in practice
The FTX1000 is the Series 110 flagship of the FTXL line — Lochinvar's "FTXL 1.0" at 999,000 BTU/hr, the top of the product page's model selector. The I&O ratings table lists 100 to 1000 MBH input with 982 MBH gross output and an 854 MBH AHRI net water rating, and the submittal prints 98.3% thermal efficiency with 10:1 turndown (matching the 100 MBH minimum input).
Water content reaches 19 gallons, connections step to 2-1/2" water and 1-1/4" gas, and air intake and vent are both 6". Venting is in PVC, CPVC, polypropylene or AL29-4C stainless steel to 100 equivalent feet per the submittal, and the submittal lists a 670 lb shipping weight — the heaviest in the FTXL line. The stainless steel fire-tube platform, SMART TOUCH control with CON·X·US and ASME H stamp carry through from the Series 120 sizes.
