About the Green Furnace (GF200 / GF150)

The Green Furnace is NTI's all-in-one combi-furnace: a condensing boiler section paired with an ECM air handler that provides forced-air heating, hydronic heating and domestic hot water from a single unit. The GF200 submittal prints space-heating input of 19,900-80,000 BTU/hr and DHW input of 19,900-199,000 BTU/hr with 97% AFUE, a 0.97 energy factor on domestic water and flow rates from 7.8 gpm at a 50°F rise down to 4.8 gpm at an 80°F rise; the GF150 spec table prints 13,200-120,000 BTU/hr space heating, 13,200-150,000 BTU/hr DHW, 95% AFUE and 3.6 gpm at a 77°F rise.

Both models include internal recirculation and a buffer tank to eliminate the cold-water sandwich, stainless steel heat exchangers, a built-in condensate trap and a built-in DHW flow switch with a serviceable filter. The GF200 ships at 248 lb in a 17.75" x 38" x 38" cabinet with 2" or 3" venting; the GF150 adds cooling capability up to 3 tons with 300-1200 CFM heating airflow and 360-1200 CFM cooling airflow. Both are field-convertible to LP gas, and the GF200 submittal notes its AFUE is based on NTI lab testing sent to AHRI.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Green Furnace?

It is NTI's all-in-one unit that merges a condensing combi boiler with an ECM air handler, providing forced-air heating, hydronic heating and domestic hot water from one appliance rather than a separate furnace and water heater.

What is the difference between the GF200 and GF150?

Capacity: the GF200 spans 19,900-199,000 BTU/hr DHW input at 97% AFUE, while the GF150 spans 13,200-150,000 BTU/hr DHW input at 95% AFUE with up to 3 tons of cooling and 360-1200 CFM cooling airflow.

Can a Green Furnace run on propane?

Yes. The GF200 submittal states it is field convertible to LP gas, and the GF150 spec table prints LP gas pressures of 8-13" W.C. against 3.5-10.5" W.C. for natural gas.
