Low Water Limit. the boiler. The Low water level device has tripped indicating insufficient water level in the boiler. 1. Check for proper water level in boiler. 2. Check boiler pump for proper operation. 3. Check low water level switch. 4. Check low water level probe and connections. The table classifies it as Hold/Lockout (H/L).

A water-pressure or low-water code can mean a genuine leak or empty system, a failed expansion tank, a faulty fill valve, or a sensor problem. The appliance does not distinguish these.
