The Takagi T-H3 Series is a family of condensing tankless water heaters — not boilers — in indoor (DV) and outdoor (OS) versions from 120,000 to 199,000 BTU/h input, rated 0.90–0.95 UEF, with the T-H3 sizes officially documented by Takagi for hydronic, radiant and space-heating use.
Series facts
Takagi's T-H3 Series is a line of condensing tankless water heaters. Every unit in the family heats domestic water on demand; none is a boiler, and Takagi's official catalogue contains no boiler product line. The series is documented on Boilers.ca because the T-H3 is one of the tankless water heaters Takagi officially supports for space-heating and hydronic applications, and because owners and contractors search these model numbers when a tankless unit is used in a heating plant.
The family splits into four size/feature groups, each in indoor direct-vent (DV) and outdoor (OS) configurations and in natural-gas (-N) and propane (-P) versions: T-H3M at 120,000 BTU/h input (0.90 UEF indoor, 0.91 outdoor), T-H3J at 160,000 BTU/h (0.94/0.95), T-H3S at 180,000 BTU/h (0.95/0.94) and T-H3 at 199,000 BTU/h (0.93/0.95). All models deliver up to 6.6–10.0 GPM maximum flow and connect on 3/4" NPT water lines, with a 3/4" NPT gas connection on T-H3J/T-H3S/T-H3 and 1/2" NPT on the T-H3M.
Takagi's T-H3 product page states the unit 'is also suitable for heavier residential usages such as space heating or domestic recirculation systems' and that it 'supplies hot water to domestic hot water systems (directly or indirectly) which can be used with storage tanks, recirculation systems, hydronic heating systems, radiant floor systems, and/or domestic & heating applications'. That official wording describes a water heater applied to heating, not a boiler; system design, sizing and code compliance for any hydronic application belong with a licensed contractor.
The T-H3 product page also documents commercial-application positioning ('well suited for residential/commercial applications such as small restaurants and beauty salons'), Ultra-Low NOx compliance below 14 ng/J (<20 ppm), an NSF certification for commercial applications, a 15-year limited heat-exchanger / 5-year parts warranty for residential use and a 5-year / 5-year warranty for commercial use. No official Canadian statement was captured on the T-H3 pages, so Canadian availability is recorded as unknown.

No. The T-H3 is a condensing tankless water heater. Takagi's official page states it can be used with hydronic heating and radiant floor systems, but the appliance itself is a water heater and Takagi sells no boiler line.
Four input sizes in indoor (DV) and outdoor (OS) versions: T-H3M at 120,000 BTU/h, T-H3J at 160,000 BTU/h, T-H3S at 180,000 BTU/h and T-H3 at 199,000 BTU/h, each in natural-gas (-N) and propane (-P) models per the official spec sheets.
Takagi's official T-H3 page says the unit is suitable for heavier residential usages such as space heating and can supply hydronic heating systems and radiant floor systems. Applying a tankless water heater to space heating is a system-design decision that a licensed contractor must verify against the installation manual and local code.
The T-M32 and T-M50 are not in the current takagi.com product catalogue. The official specification-sheets page still lists T-M32/T-M50 entries, but their linked PDF returns a 404 and no official spec table could be retrieved, so Boilers.ca does not publish T-M32/T-M50 model pages.
