About the Vitocrossal 200 (CM2, GW6B)

The Vitocrossal 200 CM2 is a gas-fired floor-standing condensing boiler with a stainless steel Inox-Crossal heat exchanger and a fully modulating pre-mix cylinder burner. Viessmann Canada markets it for commercial plants (and large residential retrofits): rated input runs from 131 to 2245 MBH as a single boiler, with a page headline of 17,960 MBH as a cascade, and common venting of up to four boilers.

The six Canadian models split into two size ranges — CM2-186, CM2-246 and CM2-311, then CM2-400, CM2-500 and CM2-620. Each range has its own service instructions: doc 5584 109 - 16 (05/2021) covers the 186–311 models and doc 5546 489 - 15 (05/2021) covers the 400–620 models. The series runs on the Vitotronic 300 GW6B control with a 5-inch colour touchscreen, stand-alone or as primary/secondary cascade control of up to eight boilers, so no separate cascade control is required.

Printed efficiency rows are 95% combustion efficiency on the CM2-186/246/311 and 95.1% on the CM2-400/500/620, with a 5:1 turndown ratio per the page. Venting can be direct or through a chimney in PP or stainless steel, the page claims runs 'up to 200 ft', high altitude is handled to 10,000 ft with electronic adjustment, no dedicated boiler pump is required, and the series carries a limited 10-year commercial warranty.
