Series facts
AERCO positions the Benchmark as its flagship condensing boiler: the published 750–6000 TDS ratings table prints nine standard BMK sizes — 750, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 MBH — with minimum inputs from 50 to 400 MBH, thermal efficiencies from 93.5% to 96.8% at 80º–180ºF and an 87%–98% efficiency range for every row. The TDS also prints a BMK 5000N low-gas-pressure variant.
The heat exchanger is 439 stainless-steel firetube construction, the TDS lists natural gas, propane or dual fuel, NOx capability of 9 ppm or less at all firing rates depending on capacity, and the specifications table prints gas connections from 1" to 2"/3", water connections from 3" to 6" and dry weights from 669 lb to 3,000 lb. The Edge controller adds on-board Boiler Sequencing Technology for plants of 2–16 boilers, BACnet and Modbus communications, and integrated O2 monitoring with TComp air-temperature compensation.
The published warranty is a 10-year heat exchanger, lifetime thermal shock and 18-month parts.
