F008

Why a code is not a diagnosis
Incorrect fan speed can be a wiring or harness problem, a failing fan, or a control-module fault. The code does not say which.
Safe things to observe
- Note the code and whether the fan sounds rough, rattles or stalls.
- From a safe distance, check the vent terminal for blockage.
Do not
- Do not poke anything into the fan or vent openings.
How professional service helps
- A technician verifies the fan harness connections, replaces the fan if faulty, and checks the control module only after the fan checks pass.
