IBC SFC 199-1 Superflow in practice
The SFC 199-1 delivers the highest DHW capacity in the SFC line: 199 MBH of input for hot water, 5 GPM continuous delivery at a 67°F rise, and up to 7 GPM peak DHW flow. Its space-heating side is capped at 125 MBH input, which keeps the appliance matched to homes that need modest heat but generous hot water.
A built-in bypass valve stabilizes DHW temperature when a hot-water draw starts or stops, and the model supports wireless cascading of up to eight units for larger multi-suite applications, with both space-heating and DHW cascade configurations documented by IBC.
The heat exchanger condenses during heating and hot-water operation, so condensate handling and direct-vent installation in 2" or 3" PVC, CPVC or PPs apply as with the rest of the SFC line. Fault codes are numeric (F-series) on the touch panel and are documented on this site against the manual version.
