Laars NTH210
The Laars NTH210 is the second-largest NeoTherm Residential boiler: a floor-standing modulating condensing unit at the 210 step of the 080-285 MBTU/h range, on the numeric Hold/Lockout code system of Document 1252K.

Laars NTH210 in practice
The NTH210 is the 210 column of the NeoTherm Residential parts list — one step below the top NTH285 in the 080-285 MBTU/h range of Document 1252K. It carries the same floor-standing condensing design, dual-thermistor outlet high-limit sensing and menu-driven operator interface as the rest of the series.
Codes are numeric with Hold or Lockout classes in Appendix B of Document 1252K (page 72) and Appendix 1 of Document 1291. The interface's diagnostics history and read-only sensor and firing-rate displays are the same across the series, so the NTH210's higher firing range rather than its control behaviour is what separates it from smaller sizes.
Best suited to
- Larger homes and light commercial loads between the 150 and 285 steps
- Heating plants whose design-day load approaches the top of the residential range
- Buildings that will stage the NTH210 with a second boiler through the lead-lag function

Frequently asked questions
Does the NTH210 support multiple boilers?
The manual documents lead-lag configuration menus (LL Master and LL Follower settings with Modbus or SOLA master options and equal-run-time sequencing), so the NTH controller can supervise cascaded units.
How do I check the NTH210's sensor readings?
The 11.G Diagnostics menus show read-only values for the analog sensors — temperatures, fan speed and firing rate — and the digital inputs and outputs, plus a history of lockouts and alarms under Info/Diagnostics/History.
What high-limit temperature does the NTH use?
Per Document 1252K the high limit is factory set at 195°F and can be lowered with the Adjustable High Limit function from the Quick Start menu; the dual-thermistor outlet sensor confirms the reading before the control modulates down.
