New Yorker GHE-II Combi E16 — Low Combustion Air Flow
E16
Low Combustion Air Flow. The air proving switch does not detect airflow for more than 51 seconds, fan standstill is not reached, or fan speed is not proven during prepurge or post purge, which locks the boiler out. The table classifies it as Lockout.

Why a code is not a diagnosis
A venting or air-supply code points at the combustion-air path: a blocked terminal, a restricted flue, a failed fan, or a condensate restriction. It does not say which, and running an appliance with a blocked flue is unsafe.
