NTI Trinity FTG600
The NTI Trinity FTG600 is the smallest fire-tube boiler in the FTG family as the Installation and Operation Manual documents it: 80 to 600 MBH input at 96% thermal efficiency, with a 576 MBH heating capacity and a 500 MBH Net I=B=R rating.

NTI Trinity FTG600 in practice
The FTG I&O manual (99985422, V.2024-06-28) documents the FTG600 at 80 to 600 MBH input with 97% combustion efficiency and 96% thermal efficiency, a 576 MBH DOE heating capacity and a 500 MBH Net I=B=R rating. NTI's FTG product page omits the FTG600 and FTG800 rows, so these figures come from Table 2-2 of the manual, which covers the full FTG600-to-FTG2400 family.
Physically the FTG600 shares its 33-7/8 in width with the FTG800 but stands 68-1/2 in tall, 38-3/8 in deep and 930 lb with water (17 gallons), on a 1 in NPT gas connection with a 3 in grooved-joint water inlet and 2 in grooved-joint outlet. The 6 in air inlet and 6 in exhaust vent accept the FTG600-800 venting arrangement, whose last 6 ft of exhaust can be reduced to 4 or 5 in, and Canadian installations apply the manual's 10% input derate at 2,000–4,500 ft.
Best suited to
- Commercial hydronic loads whose demand calculation sits between 80 and 600 MBH
- Buildings wanting the FTG fire-tube platform's touchscreen control and cascade settings at its smallest documented size
- Mechanical rooms that can take the 6 in air-inlet and exhaust connections
