It is a non-condensing cast-iron design with dry-leg end sections, atmospheric chimney venting through an integral low-profile draft hood and motorized vent damper, a pull-out burner drawer with removable burner tube tray for service, and flame roll-out and blocked-vent safety shut-offs. Water return and supply are 1¼" NPT with ¾" NPT; the boiler is wired 120 V AC 60 Hz at under 12 A.
The internal Hydrolevel control adjusts water temperature to heating-system demand with a built-in low water cut-off; the IOM prints indicator-light diagnostics rather than numeric fault codes. Utica prints a 20-year non-prorated limited residential warranty plus 5-year parts, and the official footnote derates input 4% per 1,000 ft above 2,000 ft.
