HTP EFTC-140W in practice

The EFTC-140W is one of the two wall-hung EFT Combi models HTP documents on its retired EFT Combi wall page. The page table prints 28,000-140,000 BTU/hr DHW input, 28,000-140,000 BTU/hr CH input and 95% AFUE; the LP-520 technical table adds 110 lb shipping weight, a 17.25" W x 34" H x 15.5" D cabinet, 1 gal storage tank + 4 gal heat exchanger (5 gal total), DHW flows of 7.1 / 5.5 / 3.2 GPM at 35 / 45 / 77°F rise, CH 1" NPT supply/return, DHW 3/4" NPT and a 1/2" NPT (1/2" x 3/4" bell coupling provided) gas connection.

The combi uses a 316L stainless steel fire-tube heat exchanger and a stainless steel indirect storage tank, with the 140k model's 5 to 1 turndown, CH 12-30 psi and DHW 150 psi maximum pressures, 2" (50 ft) or 3" (100 ft) sealed-combustion venting and a 10-year limited residential / five-year limited commercial warranty. The retired wall page notes ENERGY STAR certification and low-NOx emissions.
