Why a code is not a diagnosis
The notification names the likely conditions (trapped air, closed isolation valve, defective pump) but does not say which is true on this installation.
Safe things to observe
- Note the notification and whether heating is working normally afterwards.
- If it recurs, check that isolation valves around the unit are in their normal open position.
Do not
- Do not open or adjust valves beyond their normal position without knowing their function.
How professional service helps
- A technician purges the system of air, confirms isolation valves are open and the pump is circulating, and checks the pump if it is defective.
