IBC SFC-1 -- — Water pressure sensor fault

The controller shows two blinking dashes (--) when the water pressure sensor circuit is faulty. Without a trustworthy pressure reading the controller will not fire.

Why a code is not a diagnosis
The sensor, its wiring or the control module may be at fault. The manual gives resistance values (7.5-9.5 kΩ across the sensor) for a technician to measure.
Safe things to observe
- Note the display (two blinking dashes) and check whether the system pressure gauge, if fitted, reads normally.
- If the system is visibly low on water or leaking, call a technician.
Do not
- Do not add water to a system whose pressure sensing is unreliable without knowing the actual pressure.
- Do not open the appliance to test the sensor yourself.
