NTI Compass NC110 in practice

The NC110 lifts the Compass line to an 110 MBH ceiling at 95% AFUE while keeping the 193 lb floor cabinet shared with the NC085. It is heating-only on 1 1/4" NPT CH connections, with domestic hot water from an indirect tank or separate water heater, and carries the same integrated ECM pump and primary/secondary piping as the rest of the platform.

For homes whose heat-loss calculation exceeds the NC085's 85 MBH — or that add recovery demand through an indirect tank — the NC110 adds ceiling with no footprint change, since the Compass cabinet is common across the heating models up to the NC199. Its 11 MBH minimum fire keeps low-load modulation practical in BC's mild climate.

Best suited to

  • Detached homes whose load calculation lands between 85 and 110 MBH
  • Houses pairing the floor-standing Compass with an indirect tank
  • Retrofits wanting a floor-footprint replacement with more headroom than the NC085

Frequently asked questions

How does the NC110 compare with the NC085?
