Triangle Tube Prestige Solo 175
The Prestige Solo 175 fires 30.9 to 170 MBH at 95% AFUE with 157 MBH DOE capacity, keeping the 19 3/4-inch cabinet of the line while growing to 128 lb and 5.3 gallons of water volume. Discontinued with the November 3, 2025 cessation.

Triangle Tube Prestige Solo 175 in practice
The Solo 175 covers the band between the 155 and the 250: its 170 MBH maximum input and 30.9 MBH minimum keep the 5.5:1 turndown of the smaller models, with a 157 MBH DOE capacity and 137 MBH net AHRI rating. Like the 155 it connects on 1 1/4" supply/return fittings with a 3/4" gas line and vents through 3" pipe.
With 5.3 gallons of water volume and a 128 lb shipping weight, the 175 is the heaviest of the compact 19 3/4"-wide group before the line steps up to the 250's larger physical package. Its 30.9 MBH minimum fire means it modulates well on moderate loads but is best matched by a heat-loss calculation rather than by house size. Triangle Tube ceased operations November 3, 2025; this model is documented for the installed base.
Best suited to
- Homes whose heat-loss calculation lands near 170 MBH of input
- Zoned radiator systems that need more ceiling than the Solo 155
- Projects that keep the 19 3/4" cabinet width at higher output

Frequently asked questions
How much more capacity does the Solo 175 have than the Solo 155?
The published maximum input rises from 153 to 170 MBH, DOE capacity from 142 to 157 MBH and net AHRI from 123 to 137 MBH. The minimum fire also rises from 27.8 to 30.9 MBH, so in a low-load home the 155 still tracks mild weather slightly better.
Does the Solo 175 need 4" venting?
No. The product page lists 3" vent/air diameter through the Solo 250; the 4" vent/air size starts with the Solo 299 and 399.
