Weil-McLain Evergreen EVG-110 in practice
The EVG-110 opens the Canadian Evergreen range at 110,000 BTU/h CSA input with 101 MBH DOE heating capacity and an 88 MBH net AHRI rating at 95.0% AFUE. It is a stainless steel firetube condensing boiler that can be floor- or wall-mounted, and the 110-155 platform modulates at 5:1 per the Evergreen brochure and submittal.
Venting on the 110 is 3" pipe only — PVC, CPVC, polypropylene or AL29-4C stainless — to 100 feet each for vent and air, with no altitude modifications required up to 5,500 ft. It uses a 1" supply/return tapping and 1/2" NPT gas connection and is heating-only, so domestic hot water is produced by an indirect tank such as the Weil-McLain Aqua Plus or Aqua Pro.
Best suited to
- Smaller homes and heat-loss loads below about 100 MBH
- Buyers who want Evergreen's setup presets and ZoneStacking capability
- Wall-mount or floor-standing plans within the 110-155 cabinet
