Camus DynaFlame DFW 3000 (Non-Condensing DHW) in practice

Per the official DynaFlame spec sheet (99-0142 Rev 01), the DFW 3000 is rated 3000 MBTU/hr input and 2550 MBTU/hr output with a 1100 lb approximate shipping weight. It connects through the range's vertical cylindrical watertube heat exchanger — 439 stainless steel, 6-pass, 160 psig working pressure — and vents in category i or iii non-condensing configuration.

The model is a non-condensing appliance: the spec sheet prints up to 85% thermal efficiency with a 3:1 turndown ratio (minimum 35% firing rate) and light-off at no more than 50% input. Electrical draw is 14 A at 230 V single-phase, and the vent-diameter table prints Cat. I 14", Cat. III up to 50 ft 8", Cat. III up to 100 ft 12" and outdoor 8".

As a domestic-hot-water appliance the DFW 3000 is rated for recovery capacity of 3056 GPH at a 100°F rise, 3820 GPH at 80°F, 5093 GPH at 60°F; it is design certified to ANSI Z21.10 / CSA 4.3.
