Camus DynaFlame DFW 4002 (Condensing DHW) in practice

Per the official DynaFlame spec sheet (99-0144 Rev 01), the DFW 4002 is rated 4000 MBTU/hr input and 3800 MBTU/hr output with a 1380 lb approximate shipping weight. It connects through the range's vertical cylindrical watertube heat exchanger — 439 stainless steel, 6-pass, 160 psig working pressure — and vents in category ii or iv condensing configuration.

The model is a condensing appliance: the spec sheet prints up to 95% thermal efficiency with a 5:1 turndown ratio (minimum 20% firing rate) and light-off at no more than 50% input. Electrical draw is 16 A at 230 V single-phase, and the vent-diameter table prints Cat. I 12", Cat. III up to 50 ft 9", Cat. III up to 100 ft 14" and outdoor 9".

As a domestic-hot-water appliance the DFW 4002 is rated for recovery capacity of 4554 GPH at a 100°F rise, 5692 GPH at 80°F, 7589 GPH at 60°F; it is design certified to ANSI Z21.10 / CSA 4.3.
