Lochinvar Noble NKC199 in practice
The NKC199 is the largest Noble combi on a wall: 19.9 to 199 MBH of space-heating input with 185 MBH of DOE heating capacity and a 161 MBH AHRI net rating at 95.0% AFUE. For a large home or small multi-suite building whose load approaches 200 MBH and whose owners want one appliance for heat and hot water, this is the wall-hung option at the top of the combi line.
Its water content reaches 2.7 gallons, connections are 1" NPT for space heating with 3/4" for DHW and a 1/2" gas connection, and the 2" vent allowance shortens to 50 equivalent feet while 3" reaches 100. The combi's DHW mode is managed by the SMART CONTROL, which reports text-name faults, and Lochinvar's residential page sells the Noble combis as Epic in Canada.
