Lochinvar Knight WHB110 in practice
The WHB110 carries the wall-hung Knight into detached-home territory: it fires from 11 to 110 MBH and delivers 102 MBH of DOE heating capacity with an 89 MBH AHRI net rating, all at 95% AFUE. Its minimum fire is the first to step off the 8 MBH floor, so low-load homes are better served by the smaller models in the series.
Water content stays low at 2.3 gallons on 1" heating connections with a 1/2" gas connection. Venting is where the 110 asks for planning: 2" pipe reaches only 40 equivalent feet, so most installations run 3" to its 100-foot allowance. Domestic hot water still comes from an indirect tank, since the Knight is a heating-only boiler.
