Crown Phantom II PHTM2150H in practice

The stainless steel condensing design, direct spark ignition, gas-adaptive 'PHTM II' control and 10:1 modulation carry over from the smaller sizes.
Its cabinet grows to 20.4 × 17.8 × 29.8 inches (D × W × H) with 1.0 gal of water content and 132 lb shipping weight; connections stay 1" sweat supply/return with 1/2" MPT gas at 50 psig MAWP. Venting is 2" to 70 ft or 3" with increaser to 135 ft maximum equivalent — though on LP above 8,000 ft the 150 and 180 sizes are limited to 50 ft equivalent. With a 20 MBH minimum fire it suits homes whose design-day load sits above the 120 MBH-class range.
