The Phantom II is the current-generation Crown gas condensing boiler, sold under Velocity Boiler Works (crownboiler.com redirects to velocityboilerworks.com) and listed on the current residential gas menu as 'Phantom II Heat Only' and, under Residential Combi, 'Phantom II Combi'. The heat-only menu covers four sizes — PHTM2080H, PHTM2120H, PHTM2150H and PHTM2180H (8–80 to 20–180 MBH input) — and the combi menu adds PHTM2136C and PHTM2200C, all printing 95.0% AFUE and direct-spark ignition with 10:1 modulation per the product pages.
Every Phantom II model is a stainless steel, modulating, direct-vent boiler on the gas-adaptive 'PHTM II' control (H/E-code diagnostics), with rate-based temperature reset that needs no outdoor sensor and field conversion to LP without a conversion kit.
