NTI Trinity FTVN110
The NTI Trinity FTVN110 is the 95% AFUE mid-size heating-only member of the FTVN wall-hung family, firing 11 to 110 MBH in the same 107 lb cabinet as the FTVN085, with 2" venting to 100 ft or 3" to 150 ft per side.

NTI Trinity FTVN110 in practice
The FTVN110 steps the input ceiling up from 85 to 110 MBH while keeping the compact 107 lb chassis shared with the FTVN085. It is heating-only at 95% AFUE, so domestic hot water is handled by an indirect tank or separate water heater, and the boiler keeps the family's vertical down-fired stainless heat exchanger, ECM pump and up to 10:1 modulation.
The 11 MBH minimum fire is a little higher than the FTVN085's 8.5 MBH floor, but still low enough for most well-insulated Lower Mainland homes to run steadily in mild weather. The deciding number is the heat-loss calculation: homes whose design-day load lands between roughly 85 and 110 MBH, or that plan to add recovery demand through an indirect tank, are the natural fit for the 110.
Best suited to
- Detached homes whose heat-loss calculation exceeds the FTVN085's 85 MBH ceiling
- Houses pairing the boiler with an indirect tank that adds recovery demand
- Anyone wanting the FTVN family's compact 107 lb wall-hung chassis with more headroom

Frequently asked questions
How does the FTVN110 compare with the FTVN085?
Both weigh 107 lb and share the same cabinet, controls and 95%-class condensing design. The FTVN110 fires 11 to 110 MBH at 95% AFUE, while the FTVN085 fires 8.5 to 85 MBH and is rated 96%.
Can the FTVN110 be used with an indirect tank?
Yes. The FTVN110 is heating-only and NTI's FTVN documentation supports indirect-tank domestic hot water; a technician sizes the tank and piping to the boiler and the household's demand.
What are the FTVN110's venting limits?
Up to 100 ft per side in 2" pipe or 150 ft per side in 3", per the I&O manual.
