Viessmann Vitogas 050 ECV-200 in practice

The ECV-200 tops the ECV range at 200 MBH (59 kW) input and 168 MBH (49 kW) output at 83.1% AFUE. It shares the six-section, five-burner chassis with the ECV-180, including the 7.1 USG water content and 430 lb (195 kg) weight.

The 3 in. vent collar with a 20 ft maximum equivalent vent run makes it the power-vent alternative to the chimney-vented ECD-200, whose printed output is slightly lower at 166 MBH and whose AFUE prints 83.0%.

Best suited to

  • Existing ECV-200 installations needing printed ratings
  • The largest ECV loads at 200 MBH input
  • Comparing the ECV and ECD top sizes
