Viessmann Vitogas 050 ECD-80 in practice
The ECD-80 raises input to 80 MBH (23 kW) with 66 MBH (19 kW) output at 83.5% AFUE. It shares the three-section, two-burner build, 2.6 USG water content and 50 psig maximum operating pressure with the ECD-65, along with the 340 x 502 mm footprint and 1035 mm height.
Weight stays 233 lb (106 kg) and the vent collar remains 5 in. Like the rest of the ECD range it is an atmospheric cast-iron boiler for natural gas or propane, chimney-vented with a draft hood and vent damper.
