Copper-Fin is Lochinvar's commercial non-condensing gas boiler family, listed on the current Commercial Boilers page in three lines — atmospheric CBN315-500 at 82% thermal efficiency, fan-assisted CBN0497-2067 at 84%, and Copper-Fin II CHN0402-2072 at 85% with the SMART SYSTEM control and up to 4:1 proportional firing — 21 printed sizes from 315,000 to 2,070,000 BTU/hr.

Lochinvar's Commercial Boilers page lists three Copper-Fin entries under "Commercial Non-Condensing Gas-Fired Boilers" beside Power-fin: "Copper-fin® Atmospheric," "Copper-fin® Fan Assisted" and "Copper-fin II®." The current I&O ratings table adds minimum inputs of 157.5 to 250 MBH and a two-stage high/low fire system, and the I&O describes a conventional negative-draft Category I installation where the built-in draft diverter means "No additional external draft hood is required."
The fan-assisted CBN's CB-Sub-14 submittal prints eight models from 495,000 to 2,065,000 BTU/hr at 84% thermal efficiency, with heat capacities of 416 to 1,735 MBH and AHRI net ratings of 362 to 1,508 MBH; the CBX I&O adds minimum inputs of 250 to 990 MBH. The line is built for replacement work — the product page notes it "Fits Through a Standard 36" Doorway" — and uses hot surface ignition, a sealed combustion chamber and an advanced control system with diagnostic lights; the I&O calls it a "fan-assisted Category 1 unit" with conventional negative-draft or outdoor installation venting.

It carries the SMART SYSTEM operating control with a built-in cascading sequencer for up to 8 boilers, front-end loading capability with Crest or Knight boilers, BMS integration and 0-10 VDC rate output, is certified to ANSI Z21.13/CSA 4.9, and vents as Category I (Type B double-wall) or Category IV (AL29-4C stainless steel) vertically or horizontally.
