Lochinvar Crest FBN1501 in practice
The FBN1501 is the first Crest FB size with 4" pipe connections: the I&O ratings table lists 60 to 1500 MBH input with 1443 MBH gross output and a 1252 MBH AHRI net water rating, and the manual prints 25:1 turndown for the 1501-2001 models — the deepest in the FB line, matching the 60 MBH minimum fire.
Pipe outlet and inlet step to 4", the gas inlet stays 1-1/2", and air and vent both grow to 8". Water content is 94 gallons and weight with water is 2,307 lb per the ratings table. Venting is in stainless steel, polypropylene, PVC or CPVC to 100 equivalent feet per the page feature list, on the same wave fire-tube platform with the SMART TOUCH control and CON·X·US.
