Lochinvar Crest FBN5001 in practice
The FBN5001 is the first Crest FB size on 6" pipe: the I&O ratings table lists 499.9 to 4999 MBH input with 4804 MBH gross output and a 4177 MBH AHRI net water rating, at 10:1 turndown per the manual. Water content grows to 254 gallons, weight with water to 5,900 lb, and the gas inlet steps to 2-1/2" with air and vent both at 14".
The 5001 sits just below the top of the FB range and shares the wave fire-tube platform, the SMART TOUCH control with CON·X·US and the family's stainless steel, polypropylene, PVC or CPVC venting to 100 equivalent feet per the page feature list. High-altitude builds for the 2501-5001 sizes are rated to 5,500 ft per the I&O altitude notes.
